A complete reimagining of a coastal California home — every room considered as part of a single, cohesive whole. Warm plaster walls, aged brass, and a palette drawn from the surrounding landscape.
The brief was deceptively simple: make it feel like home. The clients had lived in the house for twelve years but never felt settled. We stripped back decades of accumulated decisions and started from the architecture itself — the proportions, the light, the way rooms connect. What emerged is a home that feels as though it has always been this way.
